From today's Princeton Research: "AVRI will surely now qualify for either Nasdaq or the AMEX with the $ 8.75 million cash infusion. Total paid-in capital will now approach $ 23 million for AVRI, which is probably one of the most practical voice companies in the business. Their achievement has won an award at the most sophisticated Voice Convention. They have both money and talent and will soon modernize and probably dominate the Medical Transcription business.

The founders, Joe Lernout and Pol Hauspie of Belgium and the Flanders Language Valley Foundation, started the L&H Investment Co and added Sanford Robertson, founder and former chairman of Robertson Stephens and Jos Peeters, a founder of Easdaq, the European equivalent of Nasdaq.

Just imagine, they selected Applied Voice Recognition because they are looking for proven high-tech companies that will earn at least 15%, bottom line. Joe Lernout will assume a position on the AVRI board, and with all his experience is a real opportunity for the Texans.

Incidentally, AVRI is developing a product for Lernout which works through the internet."

I hope Mike King and the Princeton Research team is right.
