Dan, You've never felstied?
Okay, we both feel(:-) ) that we contain an aspect of God within ourselves. We both believe that you can commune with that God. We both even believe that it is possible to converse with God.
Why then is it hard to believe that people with different ideas are talking to God? That the "feelings" these people are left with, are less than legitimate?
We all have souls, and we can all commune with them, what makes one communion less real than someone elses? What makes a book more tangible than an actual conversation?
Who is to say, what and who will be successful in true communion, that enable one to believe the he actually did have a conversation with the big guy/girl?
Finally, given that we all have this spark of divinity, who is to say that these "feelings" are not true and direct signals from that verys same aspect of divinity?
