QT<focused winner vs obsessive loser>SOMETIMES VERY FINE LINE. I watched fellow traders, drop off mainly because they could not deal very well with losses. Whereas I would be "crazy" enough to be right back in there after sometimes heavy losses. This kind of mental control can come from many areas of life. Obvious? Sometimes these "obvious" characteristics, are hard to see, if you are overly theoretical. Agree? I have been criticized for speaking too much about personal things, but I don't care. I feel it is relevent. Afterall,"guts" "willing to take risk"---what in the world are we talking about? For example, a person "able to get things done"--means to me someone willing to place bets where the probability of payoff is higher---which are mostly feelings from experience. (Pardon my words--am "off to the races 2:15 PM my time.) Hey, send me a tiny bit of that Long Island sand....Sure glad mo is back...
