OT Hello Ibexx, << I had been personally coached on this game by an Oxford mathematician, yet I would alternately win big or lose bigger--thus it couldn't be my skills right? >> No offense to your coach, but he ain't gonna lift those odds above 49%. ;-) like nihil says, count cards to win. that isn't too easy. i don't agree with nihil about staying away from the game, though. playing blackjack is pretty fun at the big crazy casinos out there in Vegas. couple more giant ones going up. it's like Steve Winn's law: every 18 months, the amount of billion dollar casinos going up doubles. ;-) they can't stop building out there...one is called Paris and the other the Venician.
