"I've seen a number of stock really rocket the day before a symbol change." Examples please. I've not been aware of very many symbol changes. Most were when stocks added D, E or Q to their symbols. It was too small a sample to draw a conclusion from, but I didn't notice any run ups. The E and Q aren't good news, and the D is rather benign. Barb
