Three items of note from the Vancouver Sun. 1. Apparently, the Vancouver Stock Exchange (called by Barron's in 1987 the scam capital of the world) has tightened up its reporting and disclosure regulations to the point where the paper artists have moved on to greener pastures. Guess which exchange most of them have gone to. 2. Maylasia has strong growth again, Japan recorded its first growth month in 2 years and the Hong Kong exchange is at an eight month high. Asia might be turning around. 3. Demand for Canadian resource sector products jumped in the last week, pushing up the base metal index particularly. There might be some real undiscovered gems on the VSE.... CD
