Speaking of ISLD, I do probably 95% of my trades that way, but there are some weirdnesses. I have been seeing a lot of orders killed because they would "cross or lock the market", but I could swear that a number of times I was selling and when I tried to hit the bid, and the inside bidder wanted more shares than I was offering, I'd get killed this way. I don't think it was a case of someone beating me to it, because the inside bidder would not change nor what they were showing.
