Intel did have good earnings, but the inflation number wasn't "very low." PPI was at 0.4% (higher than the expected 0.3%) and the core rate was 1% (higher than the expected 0.6%). Couple that with the very large jobs number earlier (378,000) ... I don't believe the market was expecting to hear those numbers. Whether it cares is another issue entirely.
