I've never used "presumedly", so I really can't comment on which is preferred.

While we're on the pronunciation topic (which may be "off topic"), here's another one I hear often: "supposably".

A big cause of all of our peeves is likely the markedly reduced time spent on reading by our population, surely because of television. But I will be the first to accept that we have two languages, a written or formal form and a spoken or informal form. This we must accept.
