Re SBC and ADSL: I should defer to the real tech wiz's Ahaha and Frank, but a quick thought anyway. From what I have learned from the people who actually do know (not me), such a George Gilder, and the previously mentioned duo, ADSL does not compete well with cable as far as speed is concerned. Other flavors of DSL may, but there is a long way to go for them to be available at your house. Remember the achilles heel of DSL is that it uses old copper wires. @Home can and will use fiber. Night and day. OK fire away experts. :-) Chaz
