A corollary to something someone else pointed out earlier is that we're not likely to ever see FNET (or 1-800) mentioned in those commercials, because the commercials are for hardware, not connectivity. The only mention of WebTV Networks is fine print at the bottom of the screen to the effect of "Requires subscription to WebTV Networks".

Aside from the increase in demand we can expect from WebTV just from the commercials for the hardware (a LOT of commercials), the only extra sales that'll benefit us will be those who have been deciding not to buy WebTV because of no local access number. Still, sales is sales. I expect the WebTV deal to mean quite a bit to us, but a drop in the bucket compared to other things that seem to be in the pipeline.
