Wait wait! You shaved your arms??? I did that! I was reading a book---and in it this girl was looking at her arm "glinting in the sun-the faint golden hairs catching the light". I was 12. I held my arm out. The hairs on my arm didn't look like that-they looked long and hairy to me so I decided that they had to go and I went and got my father's razor and shaved my arms. My father said, "Marion!" (that's my mother)"Did you use my razor to shave your legs?" She raised her lip and said, "No!" I must have looked guilty. My mother said-"Let me see your legs." Well they were fine, nice and hairy. Then she saw my arms. "My God. You look like a plucked chicken." And yeah-itchy-and prickly and gross.
