Coherent Convenes Forum On Network Quality Issues
LEESBURG, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 1997-- Coherent Communications Systems Corp recently held its 10th International User Group Forum dedicated to the improvement of voice and fax quality in telecommunications networks.
Attending the Forum were Coherent's key customers and strategic partners, convening to discuss their networks, voice quality concerns, and future product requirements. The annual event reflects Coherent's commitment to listen closely to its customers and partners, uncovering their operational problems and working with them to solve these with new products and features. Sixty representatives from the world's leading telecommunications companies attended, including British Telecom, France Telecom, Telkom South Africa, Saudi Telecom, Turk Telecom, Lucent, Ericsson, Telia, Nokia and Alcatel.
Each year, the three-day event is held in a different part of the world, reflecting Coherent's global customer base. Portugal was the host country this year, with the Forum comprised of formal technical presentations complemented by informal workshops.
