Re: CSW pricing.

Paul,

I think you are asking about the differences in exchange fees charged to Canadian and US customers. This difference is mandated by the exchanges and we *cannot* change it. From our "Subscription Options and Pricing" page:

"NOTE: Monthly exchange royalties really are much lower for non-Canadian residents. This policy is based on historical factors which may no longer be relevant. Please note that this is not a policy of Stockwatch. If we were in charge, things would be different.

"The Canadian Exchange Group, which includes as members the TSE, ME and VSE, IS responsible for this policy, and is currently involved in negotiations with its member exchanges which quite possibly will result in a rationalization of these fees, someday."

In short this sucks. It probably made sense BI (before Internet) because it was harder to get Americans to pay attention to the Canadian markets. I don't think it makes sense anymore. Please contact the Toronto Exchange and ask for the Canadian Exchange Group. Complain to them.

Thanks,
Gerry Rempel
