On the web site mp3.com there was an article a while back (6+ months) explaining that Real was not going to support MP3 with G2, even though Microsoft did in their media player ... and G2 shipped with no MP3 support. I've talked to them a couple of times ... they know what they have ... 60,000 downloads a day ... half of RealNetworks ... 5 Million+ players ... and it's interesting that when they say that 90% of the content on the Internet is RealMedia ... are they really counting all the underground MP3s? Today I listened to ShoutCast servers all day ... there were about 250 servers active with 500+ users listening at any one time ... and this is just a technology that has been out a couple of weeks ...
