These big tech stock eps have been so phony for so long that folks are actually starting to believe them. I read the MSFT 10K where they had to restate eps without options scams and put warrant flim-flams.

Care to elaborate on these "scams" and "flim-flams". My view is just the opposite.

MSFT (and many other very successful companies) sell puts on their stock from time to time to take in cold hard cash for their shareholders. Worst case, company has to buy the stock at the strike, if the price falls a great deal. Since these are generally deep in the money puts, and since the company usually has some idea of its outlook, these rarely end up actually getting exercised.

Scam??? Hardly. Good for shareholders??? You bet...
