Richard...Wondering if your friends "recognize" Avigen as a player in this field...I have been reading the prospectus...C.E.O. is Philip Whitcome, ex-C.E.O. of Neurogen and ex-Director of Strategic Planning at Amgen...Research leaders include Gary Kurtzman, who was listed as ex-Virology Group Leader at Gilead...Also noticed that Jerome Groopman was on Scientific Advisory Board...There are 7.25 million shares out @$4...With $17 million in cash(9/96), the tech. million...As with companies like Ariad(..or CYPR OR CORX) a large pharma alliance could ignite the stock.......assuming the company has something of value, which is where I began............
