If your previous ownership percentage of PRWT was say 1% (for the sake of discussion only), and you then had a merger where PRWT receives in exchange only say 70% of the then outstanding shares, then you now have only .7% of the new entity. So yes there is a preservation in one sense, but your percentage ownership does indeed change. You have a smaller share of a bigger entity, assuming the partner has value. But as I said before, without any financials, you can't really know whether your value has been preserved, because without complete accounting you can't know if the conversion ratio is appropriate. Maybe this is why PRWT management is so loathe to reveal the true financial picture of the company. Not in terms of making the deal, but the aftermath of explaining.
