I agree they wait until a stock bottoms to downgrade, so they can load up on the stock and then wait until they have their position before they upgrade. Then they raise their target until it is maxed out and sale into strength... trying to get out as close to the top as possible. Analysts recommendations and downgrades almost useless. I bought several stocks downgraded in december and they are up now.
