Mike - "US is on the skids"?? What numbers are you looking at? How about 4th quarter gdp of 4% and first quarter 1999 of 3%! The economy is doing so well that the dark cloud behind this silver lining is that Alan has stopped easing and may even tighten in 2nd half IF strong growth continues and world is stable: ie, Brazil solved and Japan starting to grow....
