Some very interesting things are developing for BTIM. In just a few days BTIM will hit the a 52 week high list. It actually traded today 1/8 point higher than the 52 week high of 18 5/8. Combine the 52 week high with the huge short interest still uncovered AND FDA approval just around the corner (but be cautious here, our great government rarely does anything fast... except mail out tax forms) and the ingredients are assembled for some ferocious action. Even in today's rotten market BTIM held well as the wiser among the shorts probably covered a few thousand shares. Let's see [insert 60's style computer sound effects here... boo bee bah bah boo bee bee boo bah], that leaves just a tad under 2M shares yet to cover. That will be fun. Jim
