I made the mistake of moving dozens of securities to Ameritrade. To move them out costs $15 per certificate.

Why move out? Well I tried them out IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, which turned out to be a mistake. The $8 commission is a joke, I get charged $23, because they refuse to accept my Bulletin Board stock orders, and they charge more for some other reason, my guess: Limit
orders.

Hey, I can live with a higher, fair commission. I WANT SERVICE. And these guys define the worst broker service I've seen!

Today i placed a Change order, It took a total of 15 minutes on line time to log in, re log in, re log in etc etc as they were "busy" or whatever screen to screen in the busy morning hours. Then I made a CHANGE on the price. The update screen said something about "working on doing the change" for about 20 minutes! Finally as the stock price got to my limit, I CALLED the bast@rds and it took 17 minutes until a human got on the line! the stock moved 3 points from the time I called until the time they answered. What If was was waiting to do a TRADE???!!!!

These people are pathetic, yet their stock is moving to the moon! Why?

So anyway they told me my stock was sold at $54 5/16th, my limit price. BUT I WAS WATCHING THE TAPE. There was NO trade at $54 5/16th.
When the quote blew by my price on a tear from $54 to $55 the update screen said they still hadn't made the change to my limit. I expected to be filled at say $55 or $56 by the time they finally got to my order change. But, NO, they scammed me for the limit I offered the stock at, when in fact there were NO SUCH TRADES AT MY LIMIT.

Ameritrade, WHY ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS??????
