Volume peaked Friday with the big move down -- didn't want to hold over the weekend. Today they waited on YHOO, reluctant to move ahead of earnings. Question: what happens on a gap down morning? Just who exactly is holding overnight? Market orders at the open? What would a few million shares do at the open if they are on the sell side for a change? What is the most this could drop at one time? Are the same people who get stopped out at a loss going to buy it back the same day? The institutions? Who? And who would want to hold it the next night? H James, is there no such thing as downside momentum?
