I think they needed to keep quiet in order for the EOP special warrants to be receipted by the VSE. The warrants were issued based on the El Encanto property, and so abandoning this property before the EOP went through would amount to cancelling the deal, I would imagine. However, the deal is done, and while it was only a week or so ago, it is over with, and can't be reversed. Let's see something more positive now. Like you said, the downside has been long enough to try everyones patience. With a $15M treasury, surely they can achieve better than a $1.60 performance. Robert
