No. It is not that simple. And by the way, there is another choice besides your 3 choices. I bought puts. If YHOO goes up to 500 or so, I'll buy more. There is no short squeeze when you are not short.

Yes stocks like this have ruined a lot of shorts. I almost never short anything, regardless of how stupid it looks. Although buying short and protecting with Calls can make sense in a crazy situation like this.

You are right about the logic. And this board probably has the more intelligent investors on board. Imagine what is on the YHOO boards, etc?
