You are right Jim. Tech. Analysis does enable investors to manuever in and out of the market much quicker than those based purely on fundamental analysis. I've had lessons for this in the past few years. The classical approach to the application of both analyses is to use fundamental analysis to pick the stocks that are under value and to use tech. analysis to decide the entry and exit points. My problem of using purely tech. analysis is its subjectivity. Completely different results can be derived by looking at the same plot. Another problem is, it makes me become a trader which costs a lot of commission fees. That's why I'm looking at the internet on-line broker trading now. It seems Lombard suits me well. Others like Regal, Brown & Co. and ETrade are also attractive. Any comments?
