Ken... As far as a dose of reality, do you serve this to the YHOO, AMZN, ect threads ?

I worked at Compaq for almost 11 years and I can truthfully tell you I never once came across anyone with an LS (lousy-slow) 120, ah I mean superdisk (if you rename an ugly duckling it becomes a swan). As I said in a private email to someone on this thread Compaq would put an abacus in a box if they thought they could make an extra penny.
I did know plenty that had Zip drives in their computers however.
Did you know you have to use caching software to copy data to your hard drive first when using a superdisk because its sooo slowww.

Before you call me a disgruntled ex-employee I'm still way long in CPQ and have been for over 10 years, but they're not perfect, let me think back, oh yeah last February ! I'm one who wish that Sony would get their Hifud out the door, even you have to admit, it would kill the superdisk. Compaq has to know this to. I mean if they were both available which one would you buy for about the same amount of cash ?

The monster SEG quarter should have a positive effect on the drive stocks today.
