Have everyone - I'm lurking today - snowed in, what a winter. Wow - what a day!!!!!!!
Bought 1000k DBCC at 26, don't ask me how lucky I was, threw the price into Dreyfus at 9:00a.m. Also bought WCTI, TMCS, ATHM, CMGI, and SEEK. Didn't get my NAVR even though had 1000k at $13. Just spoke to Datek on that one and they gave me the old story about how the ticker was sent out correctly and just too many buy orders in. Strange it opened at 12, went down to 11, then is over 16 now! I still might complain quite a bit to them. We use 2 brokerage houses which really helps in times like today! Datek has been actually pretty good to us, thought for sure we'de have more NAVR today! Sitting on 5k, looking for $50 if the IPO is announced. Have played DBCC, MALL, and USAI. If the IPO is announced - NAVR will sky rocket!!!!!
I don't know who would put in market orders in - when you see ridiculous low numbers in the pre-market, it's time to load up!!!! We got burned in the past buy panicking and have learned to buy, not sell into these sell offs! Just buy low enough!
