You know, Thomas, that I had completely forgotten about that prognostication. The Giants game did indeed prove the spoiler, and I also kinda called the Miami game loss in the same post. But look at what the Broncos did to Miami in the playoffs last week. Same personnel, different situation. It was a huge game, unlike the Giants, and they were mile high (pardon the pun) up for it too. So they win big against the same Miami team that held T. Davis to, what?, 29 yards previously. He romps for 199 in the playoffs against them! I also agree the Jets have met their match. There will be no letdown, no upset this week. If nothing else, the stories in the Denver newspapers all this week about Elway retiring after this season will be a tremendous motivational factor for the team to win another Super Bowl while he's here. Whether the stories are true or not. However, I see a closer game this week against the Jets than against Miami. But a victory nonetheless.
