Yo! Tony.. now you've touched upon something really important that I need to talk about...
Growing up in Chi-town and with my family still living there....the subject of MJ is near and dear to me.
Aside from the '85 Bears, Chicagoans have had to endure years of futility until little Mikey came to town.
I have followed the Bulls, since Walker, Love, Sloan, Thurmond, Gilmore, and the original Stormin' Norman....
So with every cross-over dribble, slam dunk and buzzer beating game winner..Mikey (and Scottie) have made my winter and spring time a thrill and joy.
I love MIke...Chicago loves Mike.....Plus every Chicagoan would like to thank the Portland Trail Blazers for taking Sam Bowie
Even though I'll miss MJ on the court, the game winning shot for the repeat- three-peat was a fitting end to the most glorious of careers.
Though I currently don't reside in Chicago, the truth is you can take a person out of Chicago, but you can't take the Chicago out of a person.
Chicago fans are the greatest on earth who deserved the great pleasure of having had the honor of having Michael Jordan on our team the Chicago Bulls!
From every Chicagoan in place and in spirit.
THANK YOU MICHAEL, YOU'LL ALWAYS BE THE GREATEST!!!!
Sincerely,
ztect
I'm going to spam this one on some threads...because these are words that have to be expressed! |
