Before I quit AMTD I would try the internet first if that was down then I'd call for touchtone trading. If that was down I'd then go the live broker route. You didn't try the touchtone trading first. Might have been faster. And then after all that is done, call 1-800-669-3900 and press #2 to ask them to liquidate your account.
