Sonki, Techy2k, ed, J.P,..: Couldn't resist. Sold 30 contracts of MSFT Jan 135 puts this am at 1.25. Bagged 3.75k pre commission. My bet is it will stay above 135 till Friday. If I am wrong I will own 3000 shares at cost of 133.75. While I hate these short term trades, my weakness is to remain all cash. I don't short any stock. That strategy despite how much ever profitable it may be, degrades the quality of my life and butterflies get directly into my tummy. So I short some calls or puts once a while. Even that makes me uncomfortable by a bit.
