Since we are quickly approaching tax season, I have a question concerning investments in NFLD companies. I understand that there is a provincial tax break for investments made in local companies. I have heard this is true, but I have never actually read anything about it. Does it apply to all NFLD companies, and is it on capital gains or just on the initial investment? Does it even exist? Any info would be appreciated.
