Now that's an interesting piece of info.

The FCC does regulate those freqs in that they defined what kinds of devices may access them.

They figured that there will never be so many cordless phone running at the same time that the bandwidth would be clogged.

Here comes a new undefined technology that uses the freq constantly and with many users. I expect the FCC will most likely kick the technology off that freq and move it toward an area that would not interfere with local cordless phones, baby monitors, hospital voice systems, etc.

Of course those more robust freqs are already in high demand which is part of the reason why cellphone and other wireless services are pricey.

If that is the case, the cost advantage of this technology may be lost.

Just hypothesising here.

Again, has anyone actually seen this product work? Anyone out there using it? Is it any good?
