Yes Bob, I wonder what AFCI's future is! There seems to be euphoria on this site because Bell Atlantic and SBC have announced xDSL service availability. That would be great news for AFCI except for one minor detail - AFCI does not do business with either of these carriers!! BA and SBC will buy xDSL infrastructure from Alcatel. I have said it before on this thread but it bears repeating - there are close to 50 vendors providing xDSL gear of one sort or another so AFCI is one of very many.
