Vinod, that was the kind of thinking that brought LTC to its knees. They bet heavily on the consummation of the TLAB/CIEN deal going through. They established a hedge position by shorting TLAB and going long CIEN. That cost them billions when the deal fell apart. Right now everything looks rosy for the merger, but you never know.
