It is always very hard to predict anything in the future.
Fundamentally, if you take a look at Apple historical revenue and
stands in pc areas, probably, you would see some pieces of puzzle.

Apple's revenue was near 10 billions in 95 and 96. And, 1996 is the
most difficult year for Apple because:

- Window 95 entered pc market which swiftly dominated pc fields;
- The Apple chairman was changed in 96, so are the strategic plans;
The new chairman needs about 2 years to stablize and turn to profits;

Apple has changed its bottom line of sales that could generate profit
from 9 billions to 8 billions, which means annual revenues of 8
billions would be minimum. And, based on 15-17% pc growth rates for
next couple years, Apple sale volumes would increase accordingly.
Besides, new OS would inject more motivation on driving the sale
volumes up if it is superior to the window 95 in most respects.
Also, multimedia, internet/intranet, and education fields will
significantly increase their share in the market, which will help
Apple to grow in next couple years. The revenue will go beyond
10 billions in 98 without any doubt, profits will grow accordingly.
