Funk,
Thanks for the very nice words of encouragement. You sure seem to have your act together, and I admire the way you think.
My problem today is that I was all ready to trade the "big day" today and finally got into a position and was waiting and watching. Then, after a few minutes, I realized quotes were delayed quite a bit. Problem with the data vendor. So, I immediately tried to get out, and it took me about 15 minutes to do so and cost me a point. I just think it's a shame that, even with all the software and a great day for trading, there is STILL too much that can go wrong and interfere.
On a day when just about anyone and everyone could and should be making a profit, I lose money. That's my frustration. Just knowing what to do is not enough. Frankly, it seems the situation has been getting worse and worse as time goes by. I am beginning to believe that trading over a longer term (position trading, swing trading, whatever) might be a better way to go, subject to less risk than extremely short-term trading.
Again, thanks for your excellent, well-written post. Your interest is appreciated.
