This has been an incredibly difficult market. In my experience heading this desk, since the OCT correction of 500 point in 1997, the past week has been as wild as any I can remember. These could be late prints, bad prints, market makers giving ugly-as-xxxx prints to clients, etc... We are still answering all calls within 2 rings..i had many preopen market orders on Dell, INTC, MSFT and most were willed within 90 seconds of 9:30am. Thats actually slow relative to two weeks ago, but given the market downturn at the open, these are some great systems we are utilizing. Regards, Steve@yamner.com
