<<Is the market still going higher in the next 6-12 months ?>> Longer term I think the market is going considerably higher. In the short term I think that a lot of speculative excess has to be shaken out....particularly the internet stock and general call option manias. In the meantime, a lot of scams have been blown up to attractive prices for short sellers. This is not to say that they can't get squeezed further, but I believe said risk is now tolerable.
