I think you are missing the possibility that the
PCis not the whole ballgame !
Coonsider all the other sectors of the economy that
eat up chips, e.g., tv audio auto phone games and
toys cameras and on and on and on.

Also consider that the equipment is used for other
products such as MEMS medical equipment smart cards
and on and on and on

Can anyone tell us what fraction goes into PCs ?
