Hello Bill. LU. I hope you were able to buy at the low. Lu is buying 2 cos. now and I heard that they are still in the market for more. LU was up to 120 before all this became hot and heavy again. I am certainly not in the position to give an expert opinion on all this. LU has done more than well but there is the argument around that LU is paying a pretty high price for Asnd. I don't think anybody expected a 20% premium. But I guess with Ericy and Siemens out there, and who knows who else, you just have to bite the bullet at times and bid high. Certainly not worse than me having bought all those internet stocks. LU's CEO mentioned that Asnd will be good for the bottom line already by the year 2000. I guess that's next year. gg.

I was hoping that LU would announce a split when they are reporting their earnings, I think on Jan.21, but this may not be in the cards now unless the stock jumps up quite a bit in the next week and even then....

I have not heard anything higher than a 130 price target, not to say that somebody did not mention 140. I am sure we will hear plenty in the next cpl of days. I just hope that we will not hear of another purchase near term or we may think that we had a split. gg. Just an educated guess on that price. gg.

Sonny
