All: I tried to call Helen West this morning and the operator said she is busy in a meeting. I called because I wanted to get some updated information on the future IPO. I think it is very important that the newcomers to this board understand the large potiential of money to be made by owning shares of FTEL if or when the FNET IPO comes out!! I know Raleigh knows a lot more then I (help me out) but ONE of my major reasons for holding long term is for the FNET shares that FTEL investors MAY receive when the IPO comes out. I think someone said FTEL shareholders would receive about 1 share of FNET for every share of FTEL (WOW!!!). Just imagine, if FTEL hovered around $5 and I have almost 13K shares ($5 x 13000 = $65,000) and then I was given 13k shares of FNET at $10 each ($10 x 13000 = $130,000). This alone is fantastic!! That's why I tried to call Helen today but with no success. Please, someone let me know if I am all wet about this. I haven't heard to much discussion of IPO lately. Do they need the money like they used to.

Oh yeah, yesterday I received a call from the folks at Prodigy yesterday. They were trying to sell me their service, but I turned the discussion around on the lady and started to sell her on FTEL and FNET. Explained the news with WebTV, the 1(800)#, and other services.
I even asked her how much they charge someone to use their 1(800). She wasn't sure but I was laughing inside. This really got me to thinking, so I e-mailed a letter to the people at AOL. I explained the superior speeds, WebTV, 1(800), etc.

I gotta go but I will try to reach Helen later today.

Jeff
