IBM usually has a good track record of working with companies. If they make a deal with a company (such as Connect), there is a good reason for it. Most of the time it is to fill a hole in a major product they have.

Regardless of the fundamentals of Connect, I feel that the deal will be good for them, and perhaps IBM will even buy them out if Connect delivers on its side. I have seen this happen too often with IBM.
