Marc Cohodes, an analyst with Rocker Partners in New York, said the OEM channel represents a dead end of low profit margins. He said the market for new storage devices is saturated and Iomega has brought Click! to market too late with the consumer digital camera business now three years old.

What do you expect an analyst with Rocker Partners to say? Outside of, as I recall, the Tiger Fund (that went bankrupt in 1996 after losing over $500 million shorting Iomega) and Meyer Berman, David Rocker is the biggest shorter of Iomega that I know of!

Notice the "timing" of this gloom and doom scare-tactic "announcement"....just before options expiration! What's new!!!

Until Iomega posts convincing, sustainable, predictable earnings quarter after quarter.....IMHO, a lot of average investors will be unnerved into selling their shares because of the seeds of doubt always sewn by these bozos at the most advantageous time for the shorters!
