Ascend played hard to get - Mory was a tough negotiator because he was convinced (or had them convinced) that Ascend could make it on their own without any help from LU or anyone else, thank you very much.

For those who in the past have downplayed his abilities, think again - he got shareholders real value this time. Don't rule out another offer coming in but the chances are small, IMHO.
