Carefull now. It's that attitude that's going to get a lot of mds into trouble. Just because the patient didn't have a coronary yet doesn't mean it won't happen in the future.

There is a pool of men out there on Viagra who each day continue to have progressive CAD. Eventually they will have their coronary. Their lawyer will blame you for never checking closely into their CV status. You're defense of "he was doing just fine on Viagra before he had the heart attack" won't wash very well. Your patients are dynamic living beings. Just because things were fine today doesn't mean they will be fine tomorrow.

Complacency is a prelude to disaster.
