Why not a juke-box type deal?

I have an HP MO juke box at work..it holds 20 MO disks with a total capacity of 40 GB. It originally served me well as I was able to get ALL of my files back on one machine again.

Over the years this has been a yoyo process..not room enough for everything on the machine and then along comes a bigger drive and the files go back on line and then it fills up again and off go the old files then a bigger drive and on they go again.

Most recently the jukebox solved this problem but it has been a hassle. The jukebox did not come with any software. Software to run the juke box starts at a grand and climbs quickly from there. (maybe some of the small CD juke boxes come with software?)

With the larger harddrives I will probably phase out the juke box..I do not need the hassle when I can get 17 GB harddrives for $300.

Pioneer? makes a 200 CD audio juke box for $400?? If something like that were available for a computer it might be worthwhile...in addition to a decent sized harddrive<g>
