good short-term/trading advice if you time your sell right. otherwise you'd best go long on this one. the inclusion of aol on s&p 500 has ramped up internet stocks to a new valuation level, unfortunately for the naieve, not all. only the blue chip ones like cmgi (just getting recognized) and aol, yhoo, amzn, imkt, nsol and others. the trick there is to figure where the balloons are. my bet is aol and cmgi, nsol a good bet on dip (forgetting the lu,ibm,csco,etc). I am terrible on timing and missed a 20k profit but i found a collaborator and SEEK to do better (no pun -- i'm into xcit for takeover potential and relative beat-down pricing (a good criteria for internet buys). the time ahead is one to seek winners in those internet stocks meeting more conservative standards, namely a profit/takeover bet or tremendous sales momentum/technology in the mainstream of growth. IMHO of course.
