At the risk of stealing Leroyt's thunder, here's some of the details on the article in United's in flight magazine, Hemispheres. (I too read the article while on a United flight this past Sunday.)

It was a two page article under the caption "Investing" titled "Wallstreet on Your Desktop". The article described how a PC could be a valuable tool in aiding individual investors invest like professionals. It gave a brief overview of MS Money and Intuit's Quicken. It then stated,

"In addition to these comprehensive personal financial programs, there are a host of investment programs. For example, Personal Market Analyst from Ben Ezra, Weinstein and Company in Alburquerque, NM, let's investors compare thousands of listed companies and also provides an explanation of the investment process."

The article goes on to talk about various on-line financial resources.

Although only a brief mention, I think it was pretty impressive to be mentioned third behind Quicken and Money; not bad company. I wouldn't expect a bunch of people to run out and buy PMA based on the article, but I do think that if anyone having read the article later goes shopping for investment software and sees PMA on the shelf, it will have a ring of familiarity to it that may cause them to select that program.

Given the captive audience that will read the article, this is great exposure. (I can't believe that anyone with even a moderate interest in investing who flies United or United Express during the month of January won't read this article.) Hopefully, this is just the start of much more to come.
